Support tooljo
Free should still be sustainable.
The 30+ tools across the network add up to real hosting + dev time. tooljo runs on no signups, no tracking, no email gates — which means we have to be funded by people who get value from it.
Three ways to help
Where the money goes
Costs (rough monthly): VPS + Cloudflare ~$15/mo, domain renewals ~$15/yr amortized, occasional contractor hours for the deeper articles, and the time of one person (Samuel) building and maintaining the network.
No investors, no ads on the dev tools, no tracking. The free tier is genuinely free. Donations and white-label engagements fund the next tools.
What we won't do
- Sell user data. tooljo tools are client-side; there's nothing to sell. Even on tools where we could log analytics, we don't.
- Add intrusive ads. The dev/finance/health tools have no ads at all. The blog/article pages have lightweight privacy-respecting ads in the future if traffic justifies it.
- Email-gate the calculators. Free is free. If you have to put your email in to use a "free" tool, it's not really free.
